The Amazon River

The Amazon is special! During the rainy season the banks become flooded and the essential nutrients for all river related life are deposited to feed the ecology and in turn life goes on. It’s at this time the fish are scattered and well fed however as the season advances the water retracts to it’s original bed and the fishing becomes less difficult. This is the time of the year we are present! The developing team have been fishing these rivers over a decade and in doing so have witnessed many trophy size peacock bass captured!

These are large fishing areas with narrow river sections. Upstream currents with vast calm areas and bays downstream. Here you can fish with with baitcasters, fixed spool spinning gear or flies!

ACCOMMODATIONS

Our floating hotels are beautiful tropical water accommodations with double rooms, all equipped with mod cons such as air conditioning, private bathrooms and running water. The boats are also equipped with larger area for group meals as well as an outside patio. All of the above surrounded by a veranda style boat porch.

Lets eat!? Brazilian cuisine is like no other! Rich in flavor and variety, full of passion and energy akin to the the people of this beautiful area, Expect a variety of produce fresh from the region. Fresh eggs and locally sourced juices start the day and a fantastic choice of meats and fish cooked in several different ways combined with exceptional desserts are all but just some of the dishes available to end it!
